It was a mixed day in the Blue Jays organization.

Of the four games played, Blue Jays’ affiliates won two games and lost two games, while a game was postponed. Moreover, the Blue Jays’ second-ranked prospect went yard again.
Let’s dig in, starting with the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons!
<h2>Buffalo Bisons sweep the doubleheader</h2>
In Buffalo’s first game of the doubleheader, they defeated the Iowa Cubs 5-3, and scored double the runs in game two, winning that one 10-3. Let’s start with the first game.
Leo Jimenez hit his second home run of the season and his first home run at Sahlen Field in Buffalo’s 5-3 win. There were also numerous doubles in this game, as Orelvis Martinez hit his eighth double, as did Spencer Horwitz. Both of those players had multi-hit performances. Damiano Palmegiani and Will Robertson had the other two doubles.

Other players with a hit were Payton Henry and Steward Berroa, while the Bisons were walked six times, with Horwitz, Nathan Lukes, Martinez, Robertson, Rafael Lantigua, and Jimenez all walking once each.
Paolo Espino made the start in the first game, finishing with a line of 4 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, bringing his season ERA to 4.30. Mason Fluharty picked up his third win of the season, striking out the side and walking two in his inning of work.
Hagen Danner picked up a hold with a double, a walk, and a strikeout, along with a clutch double play in his inning of work. Zach Pop picked up the save, striking out one batter while walking one and allowing a hit.
The second game of the double header was a lot less close, as the Bisons blew out the Cubs 10-3. Orelvis Martinez’s 15-game hit streak ended on Tuesday, but he had hits in each of these games, giving him a hit in 19 of 21 games this season. He also hit his seventh home run of the season in the second game.

Cam Eden was the other player with a home run, and he and Martinez were the only two players on the Bisons with a multi-hit game. In fact, the only player who had a hit outside of these two players was Steward Berroa, who had a single.

This is because the Cubs were too busy walking players, as Martinez was the only player in the lineup who didn’t reach with a walk. Spencer Horwitz and Rafael Lantigua walked twice, while Damiano Palmegiani, Will Robertson, Luis De Los Santos, Max McDowell, Eden, and Berroa all walked once.
Paxton Schultz started this game, finishing with a line of 2.1 Ip, 1 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 5 K to give him a season ERA of 3.55. However, Luis Quiñones picked up the win, striking out five batters in 2.2 clean innings. Brandon Eisert returned to action, and gave up two earned runs and two walks in two innings pitched. 
<h2>New Hampshire lost a close game late… again</h2>
After a great start to the season, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats are now 8-10, second last in the Eastern League Northeast division. Tied 2-2 in the top of the ninth, the Fisher Cats allowed three runs, losing 5-2.
Michael Turconi and Alan Roden were the two big standouts from this game with the bat, as they each finished with a double and a multi-hit game. Rainer Nuñez had the other double, while Gabriel Martinez, and Garrett Spain had the remaining two hits.

In total, the Fisher Cats struck out 15 times, 12 of those belonging to Binghamton Rumble Ponies starter Tyler Stuart, who stands at 6’9”, 250 lbs. Devereaux Harrison didn’t have a bad start by any means, as he finished the game with a line of 5 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 5 K to bring his season ERA to 9.39.
Hunter Gregory came in for relief, pitching 2.2 innings where he walked four batters and struck out two. Ryan Boyer was tagged with the loss, finishing with a line of 1.1 IP, 2 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 1 K with a home run given up.
<h2>Dunedin’s losing streak reaches six games</h2>
Like the Fisher Cats, the Dunedin Blue Jays had a good start to their season, going 9-3 over their first 12 games. However, a six-game losing streak which included a 5-2 loss to the Jupiter Hammerheads on Thursday saw their record drop to 9-9.
The team mustered five hits, with Canadian Bryce Arnold hitting the only extra-base hit of the evening, a double. Other players with a hit were Edward Duran, Manuel Beltre, Tucker Toman, and Cristian Feliz. In total, they struck out 13 times, and walked only four times, with Yhoangel Aponte, Arjun Nimmala, Beltre, and Arnold picking up free-passes.
Grant Rogers had a solid start, finishing with a line of 4.2 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 7 K to bring his season ERA to 2.57. The fastball averaged 91.2 mph and maxed out at 92.3 mph, while Rogers generated nine whiffs of 39 total swings for a 23 whiff%.
Kai Peterson came in for relief and struck out two and walked a batter in his inning and a third of work, while J.J. Sanchez allowed two earned runs and two walks in his inning of work. Bo Bonds struck out two in his inning of work.
