<p>The Toronto Blue Jays have found their bats at T-Mobile Park, with the club winning their first two games against the AL West-leading Seattle Mariners and looking to sweep the club this afternoon.</p>
<p>Toronto will be sending Jose Urena to the mound to start, with the right-hander expected to go a few innings and likely be followed by Eric Lauer to round out the bulk of the day. Of course, the further Urena can go into the game, the better, but it will be a one-two punch that will be similar to what unfolded during Urena&#8217;s last start against the Angels.</p>
<p>His first outing with the Jays saw the Dominican product go 4 1/3 while allowing four hits, one walk, and two earned runs on 74 pitches, tossing a 70.3% strike rate. A two-run home run in the first inning off the bat of Taylor Ward was the only damage, and Urena settled in shortly after, going two full innings before allowing another hit. His overall stats still look ugly from his previous outing with the Mets (8.59 ERA with 11 hits and seven earned runs), but if he can give the Jays some length today, that would bode well before Lauer comes in.</p>

<p>Opposite of Urena on the mound will be Bryce Miller, who did not appear in the previous series when the Mariners made the trek out to Toronto in April.</p>
<p>This season, Miller owns a 4.15 ERA and a 2-3 record through seven starts, allowing 16 earned runs through 34 2/3 innings of work. Miller has been inconsistent at times this season, tossing zeros against the Reds and the Angels, as well as allowing one earned run against the Rangers in April (minimum five innings) but also allowing four runs on three separate occasions to the Giants, Red Sox, and Athletics, which was his previous outing on May 5th. He&#8217;s walked batters at a 4.9 BB/9 clip, so the Jays&#8217; bats will need to be patient in the batter&#8217;s box.</p>
<p>Miller works with a six-pitch mix and will sometimes toss a cutter for good measure, although he leads with his four-seam fastball for 40.4% of the work. This is followed by a sinker (18%), split-finger (14.9%), knuckle curve (11.3%), slider (8.6%), and sweeper (5.6%). His four-seamer and sinker both sit in the mid-90s.</p>
<p>Anthony Santander remains out of the Jays&#8217; lineup after hurting his shoulder in the Angels series, and Daulton Varsho is getting an off-day today. Addison Barger, who has been mashing the ball in Seattle, moves up to the third spot in the order while Myles Straw will occupy centre field. George Springer gets a day in the DH spot, so Nathan Lukes will play right field while Jonatan Clase rounds out the group in left field.</p>
